PVC
National Pipe & Plastics' PVC
Pipe and Conduit compounds are processed with rutile titanium dioxide (TiO2) which
serves as an ultraviolet inhibitor. The level of TiO2 proportioned into
these compounds is sufficient to protect the product against the effects of
ultraviolet degradation for a minimum of two years to accommodate storage,
transportation and handling, prior to installation.
HDPE
National
Pipe & Plastics' HDPE PE 3608 Polyethylene Pipe products are processed
from plastic compounds that are properly stabilized for conditions of
ultraviolet radiation and weather ability. Our compound
stabilization package is formulated with a minimum of 2 percent finely dispersed
carbon black. It has been determined that this percentage of
well-dispersed very fine particle carbon black is considered sufficient to
protect out Polyethylene Pipe for continuous outdoor service. |
